City guide: novelistic simulations of some everyday places

This is simultaneously a thesis on coincidences as well as a city guide. I have chosen to include three places in this guide and all of them are top notch; my local cafe, the cinema and a snackbar. The way these places hold their visitor within the city varies, a variation which is interpreted in their appearance on the page. An overall lack of focus has been central as a method to enter these places and much reading has influenced me during this partaking. Here I point to the bibliography in the form of an essay. I do believe that any respectable city guide ought to orientate its reader however disorientation can serve as an effective way to force a relationship with one’s immediate surroundings.
