Ansuya Blom (Netherlands, 1956) makes films, drawings, collages and installations that leave room for the strange and the ineffable. In her work, noise turns to music, sound to spoken word, text to drawings. For over forty years, she has been building an oeuvre that forms a highly detailed study of the boundaries of the inner world. She visualises the complex relations between people among each other and with the world around them.
