This volume of Udaya is dedicated to Ingrid Muan, art historian and promoter of Cambodian arts. Four of Ingrid's unpublished conference papers constitute the first half of this volume. The series opens with "haunted scenes: painting and history in Phnom Penh". In the next two pieces Ingrid turns to the post-independence period. The final paper in the series is "Selling space: socialism and signage in Phnom Penh after the Khmer Rouge".
