Amsterdam 60/80 : twintig jaar beeldende kunst / twenty years of fine arts

Characteristic for Amsterdam was and still is, a kind of inspiring atmosphere, also for foreign artists. Some even decided to take up permanenet residence here. The city has gone through a turbulent period between 1960-1980. Typical for the period was the democratization and the attack of the established order. Political changes came along for a great deal under influence of the subculture.
