Work of art in the state of exile

Milca Tomic participated at "La Biennale di Venezia/50th International Art Exhibition "Dreams and Conflicts: The Viewer's Dictatorship"June 15- november 2, 2003. By the time this took place, the twentieth- century name "Yugoslavia" was history, as that political entity existed no more. In Tomic's project for the facade of the "Yugoeslavia Pavillion" she had to rethink to be able to present what was going on and what was -the moment- and result.
