Persijn Broersen & Margit Lukács : all or nothing at all

For the exhibition at Viborg Kunsthal, Margit Lukács and Persijn Broersen have taken their cue from Frank Sinatra’s hit song ‘All Or Nothing At All’. The song is about control and the fear of losing it – having it all or being alone. For this project, the artists collaborated with The Animation Workshop in Viborg to create a virtual game-like landscape of Viborg as an endless, empty city with a labyrinthine setting. The exhibition space transformed into an arena, with the centre of the ground floor only accessible from the first floor. Here the visitor experienced an abundance of corridors, shelters, dark corners, old and new buildings, marketplaces and car parks, and breathtaking views of an adventurous lake.
