Daniel Buren: five texts

Daniel Buren: "In this book five texts are collected which are partially or entirely written between 1967 and 1970. Several have been published between 1968 and 1973. In this collection the texts are reprinted in extenso without additions or changes.
Although my painting has greatly evolved since these five texts are written, the writings clearly reveal that the act of painting precedes them and goes beyond them."
