Ben Guntenaar : verschuivingen deplacements transpositions

In May 1973 the city of Amsterdam commissioned Ben Guntenaar to design a vertical stone sculpture for the gardens om Chuchilllaan near Muzenplein. Until a few years ago a sundial stood on the site. The dimensions and proportions of the sculpture were determind in relation to the surrounding buildings, vegetation and roads and the design and ornamentation of the nearby bridge.
