AnnotatieLe Fresnoy, Studio national des arts contemporains, France ; "6 visits" takes place in the same closed space, a living room that apparently belongs to the main character of the film - a young woman. She is never alone in her home - she suggests tea and coffee to visitors who appear suddenly and in the end takes them to the door. When she returns to the room she finds new people sitting at the table. The decoration of the room changes according to the taste of the visitors, so that the distinction between host and guest becomes questionable. The relationships between the characters are not made explicit, but are to be constructed from little hints, conversations and behaviours. Normal, everyday situations and gestures are drawn away from their natural purpose to follow a logic of their own.
